Vinetas is published by Intrusive Memory Productions. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Vinetas app and the vinetas.app website, and how that information is handled.
On-Device Generation
Vinetas generates storyboard panels entirely on your device using AI Models that run locally via MLX on Apple Silicon. To be explicit: prompts and panels never leave your device. No generation request is sent to any server operated by Intrusive Memory Productions or any third party. There are no cloud round-trips for image generation; all inference happens locally after the AI Model has been downloaded.
AI Model Downloads
AI Models are distributed via a content delivery network (CDN). When you initiate a download, the CDN receives the request URL (which identifies the AI Model and its version) and your IP address as part of normal HTTPS traffic. No prompt text, panel images, or personal identifiers beyond the IP address are transmitted during a download. Once downloaded, the AI Model is stored on your device and used entirely offline.
Crash Reporting and Diagnostics
Vinetas participates in standard Apple platform crash-reporting programs:
- TestFlight (pre-release): Crash logs and basic device diagnostics are shared with Intrusive Memory Productions via Apple’s TestFlight service according to Apple’s TestFlight privacy terms.
- App Store (release): If you have opted in to share analytics with app developers in your iOS or macOS settings, Apple may provide anonymized crash reports and performance metrics. You can review and change this setting in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on your device.
Crash reports do not contain your prompts, generated images, storyboard content, or any other creative work.
No Prompt or Panel Telemetry
Intrusive Memory Productions does not collect, store, transmit, or analyze:
- The text prompts you write.
- The storyboard panels you generate.
- Your project names, descriptions, or any other creative content.
This is a structural guarantee of the on-device architecture, not a policy promise alone. The app has no mechanism to send creative content anywhere because generation never leaves the device.
Website Analytics
The vinetas.app website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log standard web server access logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, page visited, timestamp) in accordance with GitHub’s privacy statement. Intrusive Memory Productions does not embed additional analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or third-party pixels on vinetas.app.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because Intrusive Memory Productions does not receive your prompts or panels, there is nothing to delete from our servers. Generated images are stored locally in the app’s sandboxed data directory on your device. You can delete all generated images from within the app or by uninstalling Vinetas. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored AI Models and generated content.
Children’s Privacy
Vinetas is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@vinetas.app and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
Intrusive Memory Productions may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app or website after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
