These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vinetas application and the vinetas.app website, both published by Intrusive Memory Productions (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Vinetas, you agree to these Terms.
License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, Intrusive Memory Productions grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Vinetas on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your personal or professional creative work. You may not redistribute, sublicense, sell, or reverse-engineer the app or its bundled assets.
The AI Models distributed with or downloaded by Vinetas are released under their respective open-source licenses. Those licenses are included in the app’s acknowledgements screen and govern your use of the underlying AI Model weights.
Your Content
In short: you own the content you generate. Storyboard panels, images, and other creative output produced using Vinetas are yours. Intrusive Memory Productions claims no rights to the content you generate with the app.
Because generation happens entirely on your device, Intrusive Memory Productions never receives, stores, or has access to your generated content. You are solely responsible for how you use, share, or publish content produced with Vinetas.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Vinetas to:
- Generate content that violates applicable law or infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Generate content that constitutes harassment, hate speech, non-consensual intimate imagery, or child sexual abuse material.
- Attempt to circumvent any technical protection measures in the app.
Intrusive Memory Productions reserves the right to terminate your license if you violate these restrictions.
AI Model IP Attribution
The AI Models available in Vinetas are open-source models distributed under their respective licenses: PixArt-Σ (CreativeML Open RAIL++-M) and FLUX.2 [klein] 4B (Apache 2.0). Intrusive Memory Productions makes no copyright claim over AI Model weights and does not represent that generated images are free of all third-party IP considerations. IP attribution for AI Model upstreams is handled separately through the applicable open-source license terms included in the app. For details on each model and what is publicly known about its training data, see Model Data & Ethics.
Purchases
The Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed through the Apple App Store. All billing and refunds are governed by Apple’s media services terms and your App Store account settings. Intrusive Memory Productions does not process payment information directly.
Free tier access does not expire and does not require a purchase. Pro upgrade pricing is listed on the Pricing page.
No Warranty
Vinetas is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Intrusive Memory Productions does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce results meeting any particular creative or professional standard.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Intrusive Memory Productions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Vinetas, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Vinetas shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Intrusive Memory Productions is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Changes to These Terms
Intrusive Memory Productions may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (for example, via an in-app notice or an update to the App Store listing).
